About me

I'm Kristina – a Gestalt psychotherapy specialist with a practice in Riga. I work with adults who are dealing with anxiety, burnout, relationship difficulties and consequences of childhood experiences.

I'm interested in how people build relationships – with themselves, others and the world. In therapy, I help you see these patterns and, if they no longer serve you, find new ways of being.

Education and training

I completed a four-year Gestalt therapy training program that includes theory, personal therapy and supervised practice. I continue my professional development through regular supervision and further education.

  • Gestalt therapy certificate
  • Additional training in trauma work
  • Training in anxiety and panic disorder therapy

My approach

Gestalt therapy focuses on the present – on what's happening right here and now. We pay attention to what you feel, think and how you react. This attention helps you see habits that were once needed but no longer serve you.

In therapy, we work not only with words but also with the body, emotions and relationships. I believe that a person already carries within themselves the resources for change – therapy helps them become free.

What a session looks like

In a session, we talk about what's currently relevant for you. This could be a specific event, relationships, feelings or simply what you notice right now.

My role is not to "fix" or give ready-made advice. I'm here to help you understand yourself better – through questions, observations and sometimes experiments with new behavior.

My values

In therapy, I value presence, curiosity and respect for boundaries. I believe that each person is an expert in their own life, and my role is to be alongside, not to lead. The therapeutic relationship is a collaboration – a safe space where you can be honest.
